Review: Dating the Billionaire by Poppy Dunne

Dahlia Rossi is a dating coach that has a set of rules that she tells her clients will help them get clinch that happily-ever-after--or at least a happy-for-now milestone--with whomever their hearts desire, an outcome she has yet to find at thirty-two. She knows every single one of those rules by heart and swears by them. So what is it about thirty-four-year-old self-made billionaire Jack Carraway that has her breaking each one of those long-held rules? The man is downright gorgeous and has one superbly efficient brain to match his superbly efficient physical attributes. He also happens to be a good guy who loves his brother and nephews and was quite the nerdy prankster with an adventurous spirit. From the moment they meet, Jack inspires Dahlia to push beyond her boundaries, but could this be nothing more than a temporary albeit fun fling or something that could last forever?

Dating the Billionaire is Poppy Dunne's third book and it's also my third read from her. I'm happy to say that she has, once again, been able to elicit laughs and smiles from me, but how could I not react that way while reading this adorably lighthearted romantic comedy? Dahlia and Jack were a couple that was so darn likable that following their love story and rooting for them was a given on my end. This was a sweet, silly, and at times, sappy and sexy read that I enjoyed from start to finish. The chemistry between the main characters was wholly believable and they were as easygoing a couple as was the story an easy one to fall in love with. They were backed up by a great group of side characters who never took away attention from them, instead heightening the overall entertainment quotient. Dahlia and Jack broke the rules but Dating the Billionaire checked all my boxes, and it receives 4.5 stars! ♥
