Review: Sin With Me by Lacey Silks (With Me #2)

I'm apologizing from the get-go of this review for Sin With Me, the second novel in author Lacey Silks's romantic suspense series, With Me. The apology is not because I'm going to lambaste the book--far from it! I'm apologizing because I'm going to be extremely vague in terms of details. Yep, even more vague than I was in my review for the first book in the series, Run With Me. You'll thank me when you read the book because spoilers will spoil it for you.
Here are the basic deets: Katherine lives in Pace and there's not much that she can complain about. This was her opportunity to leave behind her past and live beyond it. That is, until she meets Father Cameron. How could a man who embodied perfection be so...untouchable? Kate wanted Cam; and truth be told, Cam wanted Kate just as much. But he's a priest and his life's dedicated to the Church, and this temptation is too difficult to turn away from.

And that's it, bookaholic folks, with as far as details go. Suffice it to say that there is a heck of a lot more that goes on with this particular story. Just like the one before it, this book is more than it seems, and Kate and Cam are exactly the kind of main characters that you wish everything could work out for, no matter how impossible their circumstances seem to be. Think slow burn romance and sexual tension plus quick-paced, suspenseful storytelling.
My recommendation is that you read the two currently available books in the series in order. There are recurring characters from Run With Me, that will be in Sin With Me, and the back story from the former will give you a better understanding of the events that occur in the latter. I'm so damn tempted to tell you who's back in this sequel, but if you've read the series starter, one name should be familiar already. Sin With Me is a five-starred thriller of a read. ♥
