Review: Kiss Me Forever by Carrie Ann Ryan (Montgomery Ink Legacy #10)

How can we be ten books in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series already? I swear, it feels like we just started this newest spin-off in the Montgomery Ink book universe. Yet, here we are, and I'm not really complaining. This is more of me with a hint of dread in my head because this tenth book means we're this much closer to the end of the series. Sigh. Bring on all those bittersweet feelings! (Side note: I've got my fingers crossed that certain firefighting siblings will be getting their own spin-off series someday as well.)
Kiss Me Forever is an age-gap, work romance featuring Brooklyn Montgomery (31) and Reece Fox (41). She's the daughter of Storm Montgomery and Everly Law (Inked Expressions, book seven in the Montgomery Ink Denver series) and the landscape designer for Montgomery Construction; he's a former firefighter turned restoration builder for Montgomery Construction. Everly swore off men after her fiance died; Reece never saw himself getting married or having kids. Life, however, has other plans for them.
Carrie Ann Ryan has always highlighted the importance of family--both found and blood--in this particular book universe of hers. It's something that I appreciate, especially given how epic of a family the Montgomerys are yet continue to maintain such strong ties to each other. I liked seeing Brooklyn and Reece go from co-workers (although she was technically one of his bosses) and friends to much more and then them becoming a family with Bella left me happy. Five stars out of five stars for Kiss Me Forever.
