Review: His to Have by Jade Sinner (Claimed #2)

Note: This ARC was provided by InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review.

Victor Cross has planned too long to have anything or anyone stand in the way of finally claiming Erika Ellis the way she's been quietly begging to be claimed. He's done his research and he knows her better than she knows herself. He knows her dark desires, desires that she refuses to acknowledge out loud, what more do anything about. She's poised and careful when the cameras are rolling, giving the news viewing public her best face and most professional persona, but she hasn't been as careful when it comes to giving out information about herself. Victor knows he has to teach Erika a lesson and the sooner she learns and bows to his will, the better it will be for them both. Erika is—always has been—his. It's time she realizes it.

His to Have is the second story in the Claimed series from author Jade Sinner. Based on the synopsis alone, it isn't too difficult to guess what's going to happen in this novella. Victor wants Erika and he's prepared to do whatever it takes to get her attention and to show her that he's exactly what she needs in her life. Even though I had a feeling I knew what the twist was going to be, I wanted to see how it was going to be revealed. The story was okay, but I guess I wasn't too much of a fan when it came to Victor's motivation for doing what he did to Erika. See, it was about doing something to her rather than with her, but maybe that's just my personal hang-up. His to Have was still an entertaining, 3.5-starred quickie read. ♥
