Review: Accidentally Forever by Carrie Ann Ryan (Montgomery Ink Legacy #8)

Accidentally Forever is book number eight in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series, and this is Aria Montgomery and Crew McTavish's story. Aria is the kind of person who knows that true love exists. After all, her parents and many of her relatives are living proof that happily-ever-afters aren't limited to fairy tales. The thing is, everyone seems to think she's in love with her troubled best friend, and that includes Crew, aka the guy she hooks up with but can't stand to be around. Unfortunately, with him being best friends with her cousin and having close ties with countless other members of her extended family, Crew is always around. It's not like she hates him; she simply can't allow herself to fall in love with him. That, however, is easier said than done, especially when it looks like he only wants forever with Aria.

Resistance is futile, especially when it comes to the Montgomerys. For all of Aria's and Crew's denials and insistence that what they had going on was nothing more than, well, scratching an itch, these two had such chemistry that it was just a matter of waiting to see when those walls would come crashing down. Do I wish that Aria had handled the situation with Travis better? Most definitely, but I love how Crew did his best to understand while remaining protective and vigilant. My heart broke for Crew once we learn his back story, but those Montgomerys made him feel like he was part of their family. There was a great deal of growth when it came to both Aria and Crew, and that happy ending of theirs was one that they very much deserved. I'm giving Accidentally Forever five stars, and I can't wait to read Lexington's story, which is the next to be told in the Montgomery Ink Legacy.
