Review: Crazy for Loving You by Pippa Grant (Bluewater Billionaires #4)

Pippa Grant closes out the multi-authored Bluewater Billionaires with her contribution to the quartet of stories about four female billionaires who happen to be the best friends and all living in Bluewater, Florida. Crazy for Loving You is a romantic comedy--as are all the books in the series--and it's about Daisy Carter-Kincaid, who works for the family-owned Carter International Properties, and Weston Jaeger, a former Marine who now has his own construction business. These two come from very different worlds--different enough that under normal circumstances, there was no way their paths would have ever crossed. But there's nothing normal about the circumstances that have them coming together to co-parent Remington Nathaniel Roderick, the infant left orphaned by the deaths of his parents, one of whom happens to be Daisy's cousin--the same cousin who hired West to put together Remy's nursery AND the very same cousin who named them guardians in her will. While West is ready for a family, he never expected an instant one with an heiress known for her partying; and Daisy knows how to design spas and enjoy being single, but she needs a crash course on motherhood AND falling in love.

This was one heck of a fun read! The hilarity was at a high, but there was also a lot of heart and heat there, making for both an endearing and entertaining two to three hours spent with my tablet. I loved how Daisy and West were such opposites and had different ways of doing things yet found common ground and met in the middle in order to do what was best for baby Remy. I was glad that these two had their struggles, both when it came to being guardians to Remy and to being a couple, which were things neither of them was even remotely prepared for. It made me feel as if they had to work harder for the stuff that they wanted, making them appreciate what they were working towards even more. This was very low on angst, but I'm not complaining even though I'm known for being addicted to it in the books I read. There were numerous times wherein I actually laughed out loud, which is par for the course when it comes to Pippa Grant's writing. Overall, this book was the perfect exclamation point to what's been a fun-filled series of stories from four talented authors. I'm crazy in love with Crazy for Loving You! Five stars! ♥
