Review: All I Know by Tamara Lush (Paradise Beach #1)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Give Me Books Promotions.

I have missed reading Tamara Lush's writing! It's been more than two years since I last read something penned by her, so when the opportunity to re-acquaint myself with her storytelling came about--and it was the first in a new series to boot!--I wasn't going to squander it by being silly and saying "no", and I'm glad I didn't!

I was introduced to all things Lush via her Tell Me a Story books, but this new book of hers had a wholly different feel to it. I'm not complaining, though, because I do love it when an author is able to surprise you with something that you weren't expecting. Well, that was exactly the case with this wonderful new series starter.

All I Know is the first book in the author's Paradise Beach series, and while it may not be a full-length novel, Lush has created a romance read that reminds us that it isn't about how long a book is but how well it is presented. This was a story about first loves and how they get the chance to get it all right when the time is right.

Kate Cooper returns to Florida's Paradise Beach to take care of her mom, but health insurance woes are weighing on her. Damien Hastings comes to her rescue by proposing marriage. He was her high school crush, but she has no clue he had even deeper feelings for her. Can a fake engagement lead to a very real happy ending?

I adored the main characters as much as I did their story. I was grinning with utter satisfaction by the time I was done reading, and if the rest of the series is as heartwarming and enjoyable as All I Know, consider me one happy romance reader. This fantastic rom-com easily deserves five stars, and I can't wait for even more! ♥
