Audiobook Review: A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo written by Marlon Bundo with Jill Twiss, narrated by Jim Parsons and Special Guests

"Everyone is different, and different is not bad. Different is special."

I had no idea about the book that inspired this wonderful parody until one of my friends told me about A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo. Out of curiosity, I took a peek at what the other book was about. I'd choose this one narrated by Jim Parsons and a few other talented celebrity narrators any day of the week.

That isn't to say the other book isn't good. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But I'd rather read and listen to a book that teaches both children and adults--because I'm PRETTY sure there are countless adults out there that need to be taught a thing or two--about acceptance and not just tolerance and how love is meant for everyone.

An added bonus is the fact that 100% of the money made from this book goes to two worthy organizations, The Trevor Project and AIDS United. So, instead of using a credit, I spent $1.99 for this audiobook, which may not seem like a whole lot, but now that I've listened to A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo, the price was a steal. Five-plus stars. ♥
